She says she is fine. You would like to know that she is.
Care Daily reads sleep, movement and doors in your mother's or father's home and tells you when the pattern changes. You get on with your day and hear from it when there is a reason to.

What you get, day to day
Most days it tells you nothing is wrong.
That is the job. You are at work, or driving, or dealing with your own children, and this asks nothing of you until it has something to say.

A short read whenever you want one
Open the app and you see how her night went and what she has done this morning. Seven hours of sleep, up twice, in the kitchen by half past eight, front door at ten. Most days it tells you she is fine, which is the answer you were hoping for.

A message when something changes
She was up five times last night, when two is normal for her. Or it is eleven in the morning and she is usually up by eight. You get a text saying what changed, and you decide whether to call. You can add your brother in another state so it reaches him too.

Something to show her when you visit
Weeks of sleep and activity in one place. It turns “you seem tired” into something you can show her, and her doctor can read it in a minute.
What arrives
One box. Five things. Nothing to buy.
The equipment comes with the service at no extra cost and it is yours from the day it arrives. Anything that stops working is replaced free while you are a subscriber.
Setting it up
Ten minutes, and families can install it themselves.
It arrives ready
One box, already paired. No installer, no account setup, no app to configure before anything works.
Ten minutes to place
Peel and stick. The hub plugs into any outlet. Sensors go where the guide says, and the guide is in the box.
It learns baseline patterns
After a few days Care Daily knows what an ordinary week looks like in that home: how she sleeps, when she is up, how much she moves. From then on it is watching whether those patterns are holding, rising or falling.
From families who have lived with it
Real families, at different stages.
In their own words, from the caregiver studies Care Daily has run. Some were caring for a parent who still lived independently and some for a parent much further along.
I was a brand new, sleep-deprived caregiver, running up and down stairs every time my father made a noise. Care Daily gave me back my peace of mind.
The motion alerts were great because I would know of my mother’s whereabouts and what she was up to. It gave me incredible peace of mind to know that she was safe and it was a relief for me to know this without having to always look for her. The system helped take the stress out caring for my mom by having knowledge of her movements at my fingertips.
Care Daily was very helpful to have the system in line and tracking my mother when she was living with me. It gave me tremendous peace of mind to be able to see where she was at all times and to get alert when she tried to leave the house during the night.

Tell us what you needWhere this came from
Care Daily grew out of publicly funded research.
More than $8 million in funding from the National Institute on Aging, part of the National Institutes of Health, and randomized controlled trials run with investigators at the University of California, Berkeley, into whether sensing the ordinary rhythm of a home helps families notice a change earlier. Published in Clinical Gerontologist and presented at the Gerontological Society of America.

Questions people ask us
Do I have to install an app?
You can sign in at app.caredaily.ai from any browser. The Care Daily app, on the Apple App Store and Google Play, is the easiest way to manage it on the go, and most people end up using it. Either way you can add other people to the Trusted Circle, and they take the alerts and reply by text message, which is usually how the rest of the family joins in.
What will my mother have to do?
She carries on exactly as she does now. The sensors sit on a shelf or a wall, and after the first few days most people stop noticing them: it blends into the room and disappears.
Does she need WiFi or a smartphone?
No. The hub has its own cellular connection, so there is no home network to join and no password to find. It needs a power socket and mobile coverage at the address.
What if mobile coverage is weak where she lives?
The hub takes a wired connection as well. Plug it into her internet router with an Ethernet cable and everything works the same way.
When does it arrive, and what does shipping cost?
Standard delivery is included and it ships within two business days. You get a tracking number when it leaves us.
Who can see the information?
Only the people you name. You choose who receives the daily read and the alerts, and you can change that at any time. Care Daily does not sell data.
How do I cancel, and can I send the equipment back?
Cancel at any time from the link in your receipt, and the equipment is yours to keep. If you would rather pass it on, tell us and we will send a prepaid shipping label. Returning your kit helps us keep equipment included at no additional charge for more families. That part is entirely your choice.
What if something stops working?
Tell us and a replacement goes out. There is no charge while you are a subscriber.
Can I try it and change my mind?
Yes. Tell us within thirty days and we stop the billing and refund the month.
